We are looking for a Mechanical Site Supervisor. This person will report to the Site Manager and will be directly responsible for the daily management of mechanical contractors in the field, ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with the approved engineering, project schedule, quality standards, and safety requirements.

What you'll do

  • Supervise the daily execution of mechanical installations on site, ensuring their proper implementation and compliance with the project schedule.
  • Coordinate and manage installation companies and mechanical subcontractors, organizing work fronts and the resources needed to ensure project progress.
  • Verify that work is carried out in accordance with drawings, technical specifications, engineering documentation, quality procedures and other project requirements.
  • Monitor performance, work progress and resources assigned by contractors, identifying potential deviations from the schedule.
  • Detect technical deviations, interferences between disciplines and construction issues, coordinating their resolution and escalating them to the Site Manager and the engineering team when necessary.
  • Supervise the proper receipt, storage, handling and installation of materials, equipment and mechanical systems, ensuring they meet project specifications.
  • Coordinate activities with the electrical, architectural and structural disciplines to minimize interferences and ensure the correct execution sequence.
  • Participate in inspections, quality reviews and site monitoring, verifying compliance with established quality control procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, health and occupational risk prevention regulations by contractors under their responsibility.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a Higher Level Training Cycle (FPGS) in mechanical installations or similar.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in supervising or executing mechanical installations on site.
  • Knowledge of HVAC installations, refrigeration, plumbing, drainage and fire protection systems (PCI).
  • Experience coordinating installation companies and subcontractors on construction projects.
  • Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications and engineering documentation.
  • Knowledge of regulations applicable to mechanical installations, quality and occupational risk prevention.
  • Proficiency in office tools (Microsoft Office) and construction management software.
  • Previous experience in data center, industrial, hospital or large tertiary building projects.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit MEP or BIM.
