Operational Safety Technician

At Binter Technic, a company within the Binter system, we are looking to hire a person to fill the position of Operational Safety Technician at our hangar at Gran Canaria Airport.

Your mission will be to collaborate with the SMS Manager in the development, implementation, and updating of an effective risk management process within the organization.

If you join our crew, your duties will be the following:

• Participate in the preparation, updating, and implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) Manual.
• Identify hazards, assess risks, and collaborate in defining mitigation actions.
• Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of the mitigation measures included in the safety action plan, except for those under the direct responsibility of the compliance area.
• Prepare and present periodic safety performance reports to the Safety Review Board.
• Keep documentation related to operational safety management up to date.
• Coordinate and supervise safety training activities, ensuring they comply with current standards and regulations.

Tu misión será colaborar con el Responsable de SMS en el desarrollo, implementación y actualización de un proceso efectivo de gestión de riesgos dentro de la organización.

Si te unes a nuestra tripulación, tus funciones serán las siguientes:

• Participar en la elaboración, actualización e implementación del Manual de Gestión de la Seguridad (SMS).
• Identificar peligros, evaluar riesgos y colaborar en la definición de acciones para su mitigación.
• Supervisar la implementación y eficacia de las medidas de mitigación recogidas en el plan de acción de seguridad, salvo aquellas bajo la responsabilidad directa del área de cumplimiento normativo.
• Elaborar y presentar informes periódicos sobre el desempeño en materia de seguridad ante la Junta de Revisión de Seguridad.
• Mantener actualizada la documentación relativa a la gestión de la seguridad operacional.
• Coordinar y supervisar las acciones formativas en materia de seguridad, asegurando que cumplan con los estándares y normativas vigentes.
