The role
At Binter Technic, a company within the Binter System, we are looking to hire a Tool Technician for our hangar at Gran Canaria Airport.
Your mission will be to carry out the necessary procedures to ensure the availability, good condition, and calibration of the company's tools, following the standards required by aviation authorities.
What you'll do
If you join our crew, your duties will be:
- Ensure the availability of tools requested by production areas, request quotes, and manage the purchase of new equipment.
- Verify that measuring and test equipment that has reached the end of its calibration period is delivered to the warehouse for shipment to the workshop.
- Inspect and repair internally any unserviceable tools reported by Production, or arrange for their repair externally when necessary.
- Perform internal calibration of authorized tools under specific procedures and oversee inspections of company-owned manufacturing.
- Manage weekly inventories of tool cribs and tool carts, in addition to performing the technical inspection of automated carts upon receipt.
- Upload tool manuals into AMOS, collaborate in drafting departmental procedures, and participate in the Conformity Control system to resolve discrepancies.
