The role
At Binter Technic, a company within the Binter System, we are looking to bring on a person to fill the position of Paint Maintenance Assistant at our hangar at Gran Canaria Airport.
Your mission will be to assist in carrying out maintenance tasks, such as repairing defects, preparing jobs, etc., for the certifying staff to whom you are assigned.
What you'll do
If you join our crew, your duties will be:
- Meticulously clean, degrease, sand, strip, and mask fuselages, wings, and components in accordance with strict aviation regulations.
- Operate spray guns to apply anticorrosive primers, sealants, base coats, and final topcoats.
- Verify dry/wet film thickness, gloss level, adhesion, and the absence of imperfections (such as porosity or sags/runs).
- Interpret blueprints and technical data sheets, following manufacturer (OEM) specifications and paint/design schemes for liveries.
- Clean and calibrate application equipment, ensuring compliance with occupational safety regulations (PPE, paint booths) and environmental standards.
