You will be responsible for the accounting, financial statements, and taxation of the group companies, as required by team and Company organization. You will also manage and coordinate the accounting and tax closings with the external accounting firm and the auditors.

What you'll do

  • Receiving, recording, and monitoring invoices to obtain their authorization signatures, issuing the corresponding payment file for them to be charged to the company bank account.

  • Monitoring debtor balances. Following up on invoices that have already been paid but are still pending receipt.

  • Responsible for bank reconciliations for the centers, reviewing and managing with the centers so that bank and accounting balances reconcile correctly.

  • Developing and controlling the cash flow of each project.

  • Responsible for reviewing the taxation of the companies, as well as for filing their taxes.

  • Responsible for registering all new fixed assets that the company defines as such, allocating all necessary conditions so that they correlate with purchase invoices.

  • Active participation in the accounting closing processes, updating the accounting for your area within the required deadlines.

  • Supervision and coordination of supplier master data files.

  • Carrying out the accounting for the companies under the required GAAP, covering all aspects (Balance Sheet and P&L); CAPEX, suppliers, internal reconciliation, equity, and debt.

How you'll work

  • Full-time position of 40 hours per week with flexible hours from Monday to Thursday and a reduced schedule on Friday.

What do we expect from you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management or similar.

  • Minimum of three years of experience performing similar functions in the accounting department of a company or an accounting firm. 

  • Solid knowledge of the Spanish General Accounting Plan. 

  • Knowledge of IFRS is a plus. 

  • Advanced level of English and Spanish is essential. 

  • Intermediate level of French and/or Italian is a plus.
