About the role

As part of a newly created position, we are recruiting for our subsidiary Bureau Veritas Exploitation an Electricity Technician / Infrared Thermography Specialist (M-F) on a permanent contract (CDI).

Reporting to Raphael, Operations Manager, you will join a team of 17 people based in Valence. You will work across the Drôme and Ardèche departments, serving our clients in the ERP (industrial risk prevention) and industry sectors.

What you'll do

Your mission will be to inspect and verify electrical installations and thermographic equipment. Your role is essential in ensuring the reliability and compliance of equipment, thereby contributing to the safety of people and property.

You will:

  • Inspect the entire electrical installation and detect hazards that could generate risks (fire, electrocution, etc.) as well as regulatory non-conformities.
  • Write detailed technical reports following your interventions.
  • Identify non-conformities and propose corrective actions.
  • Ensure technical and regulatory follow-up of client files.

What we're looking for

Are you comfortable managing your own schedule? You will be responsible for handling your assignments independently and respecting intervention schedules.

Do you have a strong command of electrical standards? You will be able to carry out precise inspections in compliance with regulations.

Are you skilled in analyzing infrared thermography equipment? You will be able to quickly detect thermal anomalies on installations.

Do you communicate effectively with clients? You will be able to clearly explain your findings and recommendations.

Nice to have

You hold a minimum of a two-year technical degree (Bac +2) in Electrical Engineering or Electrotechnics, or an equivalent qualification, and have at least 3 years of experience in maintenance or a technical inspection bureau.
Ideally, you hold the CNPP Q19 certification.
A valid Class B driver's license is essential.
