About the role

PURPOSE
To carry out regulatory and voluntary technical inspections at installations, equipment, products, or client environments, assessing their compliance with applicable regulations and Bureau Veritas protocols.
You will work mainly in the field (industry, construction sites, installations, warehouses, vessels, agriculture), with office-based work for report preparation. Your role will ensure client safety, quality, and legal compliance.

What you'll do

FUNCTIONS
■ Prepare inspections by reviewing documentation, applicable regulations, and the history of the equipment or installation.
■ Execute on-site inspections: visual, dimensional, and functional checks, as well as testing when applicable.
■ Verify the compliance of equipment, installations, products, or environments with current regulations.
■ Identify non-conformities, gather objective evidence, and propose the necessary corrective actions.
■ Issue inspection reports and certificates with the traceability and rigor required by BV and the accrediting entity.
■ Communicate findings to the client clearly, constructively, and technically.
■ Follow up on non-conformities until they are resolved.
■ Operate and verify assigned measurement and inspection equipment, ensuring their calibration and maintenance.
■ Comply with BV's internal procedures, impartiality requirements, and confidentiality policies.
■ Keep technical qualifications up to date (recertifications, ongoing training, NDT levels, etc.).
■ Apply safety regulations and wear mandatory Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at every work site.

REQUIREMENTS
