Engineer Train Control - Software

CAF Digital & Design Solutions is a multidisciplinary engineering center specialized in the development of railway vehicle projects, as well as an accelerator in the implementation of digital manufacturing and a benchmark in digitalization and additive production in the capital goods sector.

Our main line of business has been developed in the field of railway transport, although other lines of work have now been successfully established, such as the automotive sector or our CAF Digital Manufacturing business unit, which covers all the services that make up the digital cycle.

With all this, we are dedicated to Engineering and Multidisciplinary Consulting services specialized in Design Projects, Rehabilitations, Rolling Stock, Commissioning, and Infrastructure Maintenance. With the extensive experience accumulated in the transport sector and with our highly qualified team, we are committed to developing solutions focused on safety, economic viability, and environmental sustainability.

At CAF Digital & Design Solutions you will participate in the design and development of railway vehicles, collaborating with a multidisciplinary and international team of about 15 people, in the development of an electronic platform for the entire CAF Group.

As a result of the hiring of new projects, we need to hire a Software Engineer who will join the Linares or Granada office, and will be integrated into the Railway Vehicles Business.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•    Analysis and management of the train's contractual and homologation requirements throughout the entire life cycle of the rolling stock design.
•    Definition of the train's functional concept, documentation, and discussion of it with the final Client.
•    Implementation of the defined functionality in the TCMS SW application for the train's control and monitoring functions, along with the corresponding descriptive documents.
•    Interface with the functional BUs in order to agree with them on the serial communication interfaces of the different subsystems.
•    Validation of the functional concept and SW-TCMS application: defining the necessary test scenarios and generating the corresponding scripts. Validation at PC, bench, and train level.
•    Management of incidents regarding the TCMS SW application.

REQUIRED PROFILE

• Higher university education in Electronic, Industrial, Computer Engineering, with an electronics or Telecommunications specialty (Higher Engineer/ Master's degree). 
• Mandatory languages: Spanish and advanced English.

En CAF Digital & Design Solutions podrás participarás en el diseño y desarrollo de vehículos ferroviarios, colaborando con un equipo multidisciplinar e internacional, de unas 15 personas, en el desarrollo de una plataforma electrónica para todo el Grupo CAF.

Derivado de la contratación de nuevos proyectos, precisamos contratar un/a Ingeniero/a de Software que se incorporará en la sede de Linares o Granada, y se integrarán en el Negocio de Vehículos Ferroviarios.

FUNCIONES Y RESPONSABILIDADES

•    Análisis y gestión de los requisitos contractuales y de homologación del tren durante todo el ciclo de vida del diseño del material rodante.
•    Definición del concepto funcional del tren, documentación y discusión del mismo con el Cliente final.
•    Implementación de la funcionalidad definida en aplicación SW del TCMS para las funciones de control y monitorización del tren con sus correspondientes documentos descriptivos.
•    Interface con los BBs funcionales a fin de acordar con ellos los interfaces por comunicaciones serie de los diferentes subsistemas.
•    Validación del concepto funcional y aplicación SW-TCMS: plantear los escenarios de prueba necesarios y generación de los scripts correspondientes. Validación a nivel PC, banco y tren.
•    Gestión de las incidencias con respecto a la aplicación SW del TCMS.

PERFIL SOLICITADO

• Formación universitaria superior en Ingeniería Electrónica, Industrial, Informática, con especialidad electrónica o Telecomunicaciones (Ingeniero/a Superior/ Máster). 
• Idiomas Obligatorios: castellano e inglés avanzado
