We are looking to bring a person on board for the position of Aeroelasticity and Loads Engineer, who will participate in projects in the aeronautical sector within the Flight Physics area. You will be part of a highly technical environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in the analysis of aeroelastic behavior and structural loads of aircraft.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Conduct aeroelasticity studies and load calculations in different phases of the aeronautical development cycle.
  • Generate and analyze component loads and structural stresses using specialized tools.
  • Execute aeroelastic simulations using advanced load analysis methodologies.
  • Collaborate with aerodynamics, structures, and flight physics teams to ensure the technical quality of results.
  • Participate in analyses associated with flight test campaigns when necessary.
  • Ensure technical consistency, traceability, and validation of the models and results obtained.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of simulation and analysis processes and methodologies.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or similar.
  • A Master's degree specialized in Aircraft or related disciplines is highly valued.
  • 5 to 6 years of experience in aeroelasticity, Flight Physics, or aeronautical load analysis activities.
  • Solid knowledge of load calculation, aeroelasticity, aerodynamics, and structures.
  • Experience with load analysis tools such as LSI, Pyvilo, and Loads Stress or Loads Simulation environments.
  • Knowledge of Matlab and/or Python.
  • Ability to interpret complex results and translate them into engineering solutions.
  • Ability to work in multidisciplinary and international teams.
  • Analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Minimum English level of B2, with a C1 level being highly valued.
