About the role

We are looking for a Mechanical Validation Engineer for Interior and Exterior Lighting Systems to join our team at our Sant Esteve de Sesrovires center, responsible for ensuring the mechanical and functional validation of components throughout the different project phases.

What you'll do

  • Definition and monitoring of the validation plan.
  • Supervision and analysis of tests carried out by suppliers.
  • Execution of photometry, thermal, water ingress, vibration, and other mechanical tests.
  • Preparation of test reports and component release (BMG and K).
  • Management and follow-up of non-conformities with suppliers.
  • Technical analysis of changes during the validation phase.
  • Preparation of reports and presentation of project status.
  • Execution of vehicle tests in climatic chambers, IDIADA test tracks, Summer/Winter trials, rain testing, and nighttime test drives.
  • Follow-up and closure of issues after BMG.
