About the role

As part of the Technology, Projects and Services Directorate, specifically in the Energy Transition Technologies department of the Innovation Center, you will be responsible for executing collaborative innovation projects. You will manage a portfolio of innovation projects in energy transition technologies with the aim of scaling technologies from the laboratory to industrial reality. The role combines technical skills and project management capabilities for the comprehensive design of innovative processes and products; integrating technical vision, project management, and technological solution development.

What you'll do

  • Execute a portfolio of ideas, proof of concepts, and innovation projects focused on energy transition technologies such as CO2 capture, synthetic fuels (e-fuels and RFNBO), and green molecules, among other emerging technologies.
  • Define KPIs and operational objectives, prepare budgets, and define, plan, and/or execute experimental trials, technical protocols, and validation plans.
  • Ensure compliance with deadlines, objectives, and budgets, and produce high-quality deliverables beyond experimental results, proposing pathways for technology transfer from laboratory to product/process.
  • Manage collaborations with universities, start-ups, industrial partners, and innovation ecosystem actors; exploring and critically evaluating innovative ideas leading to the creation of new technologies and business opportunities.
  • Evaluate ideas from the innovation ecosystem, assessing technical feasibility and strategic alignment; and proposing proof of concepts to validate or discard such ideas.
  • Interdepartmental and multidisciplinary collaboration. Work closely with other areas of the Innovation Directorate, corporate Technical Services, and Moeve Business Units to explore the scaling of innovative ideas into real solutions.
  • Propose, draft proposals, and manage projects in competitive calls, supporting the capture of public funding and managing participation in consortium projects.
  • Prepare and present executive reports, high-quality technical documentation, specifications, and presentations for technical and management committees.
