You will join the Retail Media IT team to act as a liaison between the business and development teams, participating in the definition, coordination, and validation of digital solutions that support commercial activity.

We are looking for a person with a technical background in web development, who understands how applications and digital measurement are built, but who is currently involved in requirements gathering, functional analysis, coordination of initiatives, and communication with different areas.

Your mission will be to ensure that business needs are correctly translated into functional solutions, guaranteeing the quality of deliverables, proper measurement through Google Analytics 4, and the follow-up of initiatives until they go live.

Main duties and requirements.

What you'll do

  • Gather, analyze, and define functional requirements together with business areas, conveying them clearly to technical teams.
  • Act as the bridge between business and technology throughout the entire lifecycle of initiatives.
  • Analyze processes and needs related to digital platforms, eCommerce, and Retail Media, proposing functional solutions adapted to business objectives.
  • Coordinate and follow up on developments, enhancements, integrations, and incidents, ensuring their proper execution until they go live.
  • Participate in the definition of user stories, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional documentation.
  • Functionally validate new features and enhancements before they go live.
  • Participate in functional, integration, and acceptance testing, identifying potential deviations from the defined requirements.
  • Analyze and validate the measurement of digital and eCommerce activity using tools such as Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent solutions.
  • Review the correct implementation of events, tagging, and measurement variables, collaborating with technical teams when necessary.
  • Analyze the quality and consistency of digital data, identifying measurement errors and coordinating their resolution.
  • Use technical knowledge to understand implementations carried out by development teams and facilitate incident resolution.
  • Document requirements, processes, incidents, tests, and action plans.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with business, development, and other involved teams.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes, digital solutions, and quality of deliverables.

  • Experience in gathering, analyzing, and defining functional requirements, as well as communicating and following up on them with technical teams.
  • Experience working with business areas and the ability to transform their needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
  • Experience in digital analytics applied to eCommerce environments, understanding user behavior measurement and how events, conversions, and key digital metrics work.
  • Experience with Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, or equivalent digital analytics tools.
  • Knowledge for validating analytics and tagging implementations, as well as detecting potential errors or inconsistencies in measurement.
  • Previous experience or solid knowledge of web development, especially frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, enabling a technical understanding and review of developed solutions.
  • Knowledge of how web applications, APIs, and integrations between different systems work.
  • Knowledge of SQL for running queries, analysis, and data validation.
  • Experience working with JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools for managing and tracking initiatives, developments, and incidents.
  • Ability to communicate with both business and technical profiles, facilitating interaction between the two areas.
