As an Innovation Delivery Manager you will be part of a team whose mission is to manage and lead the functions that support innovation and technological development needed to facilitate the achievement of strategic objectives and decision-making in this area. 

What you'll do

  1. Lead and coordinate the exploration, conceptualization and incubation of innovation initiatives and projects, aligning them with Redeia's strategic and business priorities and facilitating their effective deployment and implementation in the business.
  2. Proactively identify, analyze and evaluate innovation opportunities based on business needs and technology monitoring, prioritizing those with the greatest impact and considering their viability for future industrialization and implementation.
  3. Carry out the pre-assessment and assessment of innovation initiatives, analyzing their technical feasibility, maturity, risks, synergies with the existing portfolio and fit within the innovation cycle using methodologies, metrics and indicators.
  4. Define the scope, roadmap and collaboration strategy for innovation initiatives (PoCs and MVPs), including the relationship model with technology providers and the criteria to facilitate their transition to industrialization and implementation in the business.
  5. Coordinate the development of PoCs and MVPs, managing planning, economic monitoring, risks and deliverables for decision-making on their evolution, ensuring compliance with milestones, acceptance criteria and corporate standards.
  6. Actively collaborate in the industrialization of projects, supporting the transfer to the business, the necessary documentation, the implementation of solutions, liaison with the areas involved and backlog management for future developments.
  7. Coordinate integrated work with CV & Ecosystem, contributing to the generation and exploitation of opportunities and to the development of collaborations that facilitate the development, scaling and industrialization of initiatives.
  8. Participate in measuring and analyzing the impact of innovation activity, using the defined metrics and indicators and proposing continuous improvements in the models for monitoring and evaluating initiatives in the innovation portfolio at its different stages.
  9. Promote knowledge transfer and a culture of innovation, encouraging the dissemination of results, learning and the adoption of new technologies in the business to strengthen Redeia's position as a benchmark in innovation.
  10. Coordinate the transition of industrialized solutions to operations, ensuring their correct implementation, initial stabilization, incident monitoring and alignment with business needs and applicable corporate standards.
  11. Support and collaborate, at the request of the area manager, in activities of the project exploration and development area during the exploration, conceptualization and incubation phases.

Main company commitments

Requirements

STEM education: Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering / Computer Engineering / Mathematics or related disciplines.

5-8 years of experience in project management and team coordination and leadership.

Minimum English level B2, C1 desirable.

Customer orientation, initiative and autonomy.

Ability to interpret IT technical requirements (security, performance, availability) and communicate them to the provider in an operational manner.

Availability to travel occasionally.

Desirable

  • Familiarity with the specific characteristics of technology development projects and open innovation tools.
  • Technical knowledge of electricity system operation and transmission grid management (depending on the context of the initiatives).
  • Technical knowledge in Telecommunications; cybersecurity is a plus (depending on the initiatives).
  • Technical knowledge of corporate software architectures, technical requirements and application landscape (highly valued).
  • Knowledge of agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and backlog management tools (Jira, Notion or similar).
  • Functional knowledge of software architectures: REST APIs, microservices, system integration and cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, including corporate policies and the technical and governance requirements for its implementation and integration into corporate systems.
