We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Engineer to join our team at FERROVIAL CONSTRUCCIÓN, S.A. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing construction processes, ensuring efficient resource utilization, and contributing to the successful delivery of projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop, implement, and monitor production plans and schedules for various construction projects.
* Analyze project requirements and specifications to determine optimal construction methodologies and resource allocation.
* Identify and resolve production bottlenecks and inefficiencies to improve project timelines and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination of production activities.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, such as output, quality, and safety, and prepare regular reports.
* Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure adherence to project standards and regulatory requirements.
* Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve overall operational efficiency.
* Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize potential disruptions to production.
* Participate in the selection and evaluation of construction equipment, materials, and technologies.
* Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel regarding production processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* Proven experience (X years, specify as appropriate) in production engineering within the construction industry, preferably with large-scale infrastructure projects.
* Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project management principles, and lean construction techniques.
* Proficiency in project planning and scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project).
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
