About the role

Backed by GCO Ventures and Byld, we are building Maia Care: a new startup whose mission is to help women manage perimenopause and menopause symptoms holistically, through a personalized, evidence-based digital platform.

We are looking for a person to join Maia Care as a Marketing & Community Specialist to build and grow the brand through content, community, and relationships with our experts, ensuring a close, human, and trustworthy experience for the women who accompany us in their transition to menopause.

What you'll do

  • Create and execute the content calendar for social media, blog, and website.

  • Write content aligned with Maia's tone, values, and positioning, translating expert knowledge about menopause into accessible, useful, and understandable content.

  • Monitor and analyze content and brand performance (engagement, traffic, leads, conversions, and other KPIs).

  • Design, implement, and optimize email marketing journeys.

  • Create newsletters and communication campaigns aimed at users and potential clients.

  • Analyze performance metrics and propose continuous improvements.

  • Design and maintain care and support protocols for both users and experts (managing onboarding, offboarding, and incidents).

  • Act as the point of contact between users, experts, and the internal team.

  • Manage and energize Maia's social media communities, moderating conversations, comments, and messages.

  • Foster participation and a sense of belonging within the community.

  • Identify ambassadors, collaborators, and opportunities to expand brand reach.

  • Gather community insights and feedback to improve products, services, and content.

What we're looking for

  • 3+ years of demonstrable experience in digital marketing, with a focus on content, social media, and community management.

  • Experience working with scientific, healthcare, technical content, or in regulated environments where information rigor is key.

  • Excellent writing and communication skills in Spanish.

  • Knowledge of email marketing campaign design and execution.

  • Experience in data analysis and metric tracking.

  • Knowledge of content creation and editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite, and AI tools).

  • User-oriented mindset, with strong empathy, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work autonomously, organized, and versatile in a startup environment.

Nice to have

  • Experience or interest in women's health, menopause, femtech, wellness, or related sectors.

  • Scientific background or training (Biology, Pharmacy, Nutrition, Psychology, Health Sciences, or other related disciplines).

  • Previous experience in early-stage startups or digital projects.

  • Sufficient English level to work with international tools, providers, and content.

What you'll get

  • Opportunity to build a product from scratch as part of the founding team, with a high level of ownership and direct impact.

  • Backing from Venture Builders, combining autonomy and innovation with access to resources, expertise, and the network of GCO Ventures and Byld.

  • A purpose-driven project, focused on solving a real problem with social impact.

  • Office in Barcelona.

  • Hybrid model (2 days of remote work per week).
