What you'll do

  • Opportunity Screening: Serve as the initial technical filter for startups, industry partners, and unsolicited M&A opportunities, with a managed pipeline reported quarterly to the BU Management.
  • Capabilities Roadmap: Keep the map of technologies required to meet future CONOPS and PEGO milestones up to date, integrated with the Integrated Systems program roadmap.
  • External Innovation Management: Oversee initial co-engineering projects with external partners to validate the technical and industrial feasibility of integration before committing program resources.
  • Critical IP Protection: Conduct technical due diligence and recommend "Make or Buy" decisions, ensuring that partnership agreements, NDAs, and co-development contracts preserve the critical intellectual property of the core stack and the NEW DEFENSE architecture.
