Operations Technician

As an Operations Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of general maintenance tasks in support of the overall operations of a facilities management business in Algete. Your duties will include carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general repair tasks. You will work closely with the facilities management team to ensure that all maintenance needs are met efficiently and effectively.

• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and perform repairs in a timely manner.
• Inspect buildings and facilities regularly to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
• Install, repair, and maintain various fixtures and equipment, such as light bulbs, doors, locks, and furniture.
• Diagnose and resolve maintenance issues related to plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other building systems.
• Complete work orders and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including time, materials used, and work performed.
• Coordinate with external contractors and vendors as needed for larger repair or renovation projects.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and professionalism in all tasks.
• Keep the workshop organized and well-stocked with necessary tools and supplies.
• Manage on-site vendor assistance while maintaining a strong focus on EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety).

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Basic knowledge of carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, and painting.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.

Como Técnico/a de Operaciones, serás responsable de realizar una variedad de tareas de mantenimiento general en apoyo a las operaciones generales de un negocio de gestión de instalaciones en Algete. • Realizar tareas rutinarias de mantenimiento y reparación, incluyendo, entre otras, carpintería, pintura, plomería, trabajo eléctrico y tareas generales de mantenimiento.
• Responder rápidamente a las solicitudes de mantenimiento y realizar reparaciones de manera oportuna.
• Inspeccionar edificios e instalaciones regularmente para identificar necesidades de mantenimiento y riesgos de seguridad.
• Instalar, reparar y mantener diversos accesorios y equipos, como bombillas, grifos, puertas, cerraduras y muebles.
• Diagnosticar y resolver problemas de mantenimiento relacionados con plomería, sistemas eléctricos, HVAC y otros sistemas del edificio.
• Completar órdenes de trabajo y mantener registros precisos de las actividades de mantenimiento, incluyendo tiempo, materiales utilizados y trabajo realizado.
• Coordinar con contratistas y proveedores externos según sea necesario para proyectos de reparación o mantenimiento más grandes.
• Garantizar el cumplimiento de todas las regulaciones aplicables de salud, seguridad y medio ambiente.
• Mantener altos estándares de habilidad y artesanía en todas las tareas.
• Mantener un taller ordenado y organizado, así como un inventario de herramientas y suministros.
• Gestionar la asistencia de proveedores en el sitio manteniendo un fuerte enfoque en EHS (Medio Ambiente, Salud y Seguridad).
