JOB OFFER AT AN ACADEMY FOR ENGLISH TEACHER

Bilingual or native teachers who express themselves 100% in English during their hours at the academy, take care of the materials, and actively participate together with the management team and academic coordination team. Academic background, courses, university training in Early Childhood or Primary Education, a Degree in English Philology, Translation and Interpreting, PIMM, or other university studies with a PROFICIENCY or EQUIVALENT level of English will be taken into account.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Teach lessons in English (currently, students between 1 and 16 years old)

Daily follow-up of students at the end of each lesson: motivation, participation, behavior, and learning, along with their corresponding additional comments.

Preparation of reports and, where applicable, correction of them. KNOWLEDGE OF SPANISH GRAMMAR AND ATTENTION TO SPELLING IS ESSENTIAL.

WE OFFER THE FOLLOWING POSITION

The schedule (to be determined precisely) is generally in the afternoons, and, normally, dedicating 1 hour to class preparation at the academy and 2-3 hours to teaching the corresponding student group(s), ending at approximately 7:30/8:30 PM, to be gradually expanded with midday classes.

SALARY CONDITIONS

We are a school starting from 1 year old, and the interview is to fill a vacant position for immediate incorporation on August 24 until June 22, 2027, following the school year with the possibility of continuity for the next school year. Starting with a minimum of 10 teaching hours, with a contract of 12.5 hours per week with the category of lead teacher, following the Non-Regulated Education Agreement. In addition to the monthly salary, incentives may be added for participation in extra activities on Saturdays or during Christmas, Easter, and summer weeks.
