Reporting to the Procurement Director, we are looking for a Procurement Specialist in Madrid who would be responsible for the comprehensive management of purchasing processes, suppliers, and assigned categories, ensuring the correct execution of processes, continuity of supplies/services, coordination of different internal areas, as well as the identification of opportunities for improvement in costs, quality, deadlines, warranties, and operational efficiency.

What you'll do

• Manage purchasing processes for materials, consumables, spare parts, services, and various categories needed for business operations, including industrial categories, auxiliary materials, and raw materials.

• Manage assigned categories, supporting internal needs, analyzing purchasing alternatives, comparisons, and supplier selection, in coordination with the areas involved.

• Identify suppliers, request quotes, analyze proposals, and negotiate price, deadline, quality, warranty, service level, and other conditions, continuously identifying savings and improvement opportunities.

• Negotiate, review, and manage contracts, commercial agreements, and framework conditions with suppliers within your area of responsibility, ensuring their correct application, monitoring, and alignment with internal policies and business needs.

• Manage and monitor orders, deliveries, invoicing, and other associated documentation, ensuring an orderly execution of the purchasing process in corporate systems and compliance with internal policies.

• Manage the operational relationship with suppliers, including updating information, monitoring service levels, and resolving incidents.

• Analyze relevant purchasing information, such as prices, volumes, deadlines, compliance, and supplier performance, to support decision-making, achievement of objectives, and area reporting.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with local, regional, and global Procurement, as well as with the internal areas served, to respond agilely to business needs.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the department's processes, tools, and practices, as well as to Compliance, audit, and internal control activities typical of a multinational environment.

What we're looking for

  • University degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business Administration, with a specialization in Purchasing / Procurement.

  • Good command of SAP MM and other digital Purchasing tools such as Jaggaer. Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar.

  • Advanced spoken English level (multinational environment).

  • Minimum professional experience of 4 - 6 years in Purchasing, Procurement, supplier/category management, preferably in the industrial/manufacturing sector, operations, or supply chain.

  • Availability to travel (approx. 15% of the time, depending on assigned processes).
