At Marlex People, we are collaborating with an important company in the plastics/injection sector to find an Injection Technician for their facilities near Mataró.

What will your mission be in the company?

What you'll do

  • Preparation, start-up, and adjustment of injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
  • Mold changes, parameter verification, and production start-up according to technical documentation.
  • Preparation and control of raw materials according to specifications and drying plan.
  • Optimization of injection parameters to ensure part quality.
  • Detection and resolution of technical issues on machines and molds.
  • Preventive maintenance of injection molding machines and molds.
  • Quality control of parts after mold changes and during production.
  • Completion of technical documentation and process monitoring.
  • Coordination with maintenance and production departments for continuous improvement.

What we're looking for

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in an industrial environment, with plastics injection experience valued.
  • Knowledge of mold changes, plastic materials, and injection processes.
  • Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics.
  • Organizational skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.

Nice to have

  • Experience with injection robots (Sepro, ABB, or similar) is valued.

Education & certifications

  • Higher-level vocational training (FP Grado Superior) in mechanics, electricity, or similar fields.

  • Intensive working day from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM during the training period.
  • After training, rotating shifts every 2 weeks: mornings from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM and afternoons from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
