Job Description
A great opportunity is offered to join as a MATERIAL AND SAMPLE MANAGEMENT OPERATOR in Laboratory Operations. This position will be responsible for managing materials and samples, as well as performing quality-related tasks associated with the traceability process and material order management for laboratories and General Services (GS).
The role will contribute to ensuring the proper management and supply of materials and samples required for release testing of raw materials, intermediate products, final products, and stability studies, as well as the correct storage of reference and retention samples, in accordance with quality, safety, and cost standards, and compliant with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
What you'll do
Bring energy, knowledge, innovation, and commitment to carry out the following functions:
- Perform support activities for quality control laboratories in non-analytical tasks.
- Manage materials, samples, and biomaterials in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and Good Manufacturing Practices.
- Receive and track samples physically and electronically, acting as the key user for sample traceability transactions in the system.
- Manage samples: reception, classification, delivery to laboratories, storage, request management, and disposal, both physically and electronically.
- Record and document test results.
- Place daily orders and ensure the supply of materials based on the needs of laboratories and the areas of Material and Sample Management and General Services.
- Monitor stock levels and the supply of materials, reagents, and biomaterials.
- Monitor the conditions of rooms and equipment under the area's responsibility.
- Review incidents, record deviations, and conduct preliminary investigations.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects for the area.
What we're looking for
To succeed in this role, you will likely need:
- Vocational training in Laboratory, Clinical Analysis, or a related healthcare field.
- Experience working in a laboratory within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Discipline and rigor in following procedures.
- Dynamism and versatility in performing tasks.
- Analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Results orientation and ability to work in a team.
- Oral and written communication skills.
- Basic proficiency in office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).

What you'll do

- Gestionar materiales, muestras y biomateriales conforme a los procedimientos, especificaciones establecidas y normas de correcta fabricación.
- Recepcionar y trazar muestras física e informáticamente, actuando como usuario clave de las transacciones de trazabilidad de muestras en SP.
- Gestionar muestras: recepción, clasificación, entrega a laboratorios, almacenamiento, gestión de solicitudes y destrucción, tanto física como informáticamente.
- Realización y registro de los resultados de test.
- Realizar los pedidos diarios y garantizar el aprovisamiento de materiales en función de las necesidades de los laboratorios y las areas de Gestión de materiales y muestras y Servicios Generales.
- Controlar el stock y el abastecimiento de materiales, reactivos y biomateriales.
- Monitorizar las condiciones de salas y equipos bajo responsabilidad del área.
- Revisar incidencias, registrar desviaciones y realizar investigaciones preliminares.
- Participar en proyectos de mejora del area.
What we're looking for
Para tener éxito en este puesto, probablemente deberás contar con:
- Formación de grado medio en Laboratorio, Análisis Clínico o similar del ámbito biosanitario.
- Experiencia trabajando en laboratorio dentro de la industria farmacéutica.
