Requirements

What we're looking for

Formal education:

• Completed high school education

• Technical training or courses in inventory management (desirable).

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in the inventory or logistics area.

Specific knowledge:

• Proficiency in inventory software (ERP, advanced Excel, or other tools).

• Knowledge of inventory methodologies such as FIFO, FEFO, or LIFO.

• Knowledge of material storage and preservation standards.

• Safe material handling and safety regulations in warehouses.

• Certification in operating cargo equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, among others).

• Knowledge of logistics and warehouse processes.

Computer skills:

• Intermediate level.

Driver's license:

• Class B license is not exclusive.

• Class D license is not exclusive.

The role

We are currently looking to bring on an Inventory Operator for our Logistics division in Chile.

What you'll do

To ensure the correct execution of inventory counting, control, and verification processes, ensuring the accuracy of physical and digital records of stock, in compliance with the policies and procedures established by the organization.

Functions:

Conduct periodic physical counts, whether partial or full, according to the established schedule.
Verify differences between physical counts and inventory system records.
Enter updated inventory information into established systems or formats.
Document and report discrepancies, shortages, overages, or damaged products.
Identify products with upcoming expiration dates and communicate this to the responsible areas.
Label and classify products according to their category, batch, or location.
