The Gas Networks Spain business unit is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates on a national scale (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of over 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. The main activities carried out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection, and handling of alerts. Our purpose is to be an active agent in decarbonization and a leading actor in the country's energy transition.

Within the Energy and Networks Management Directorate, we are looking for talent in the Gas Networks Spain Directorate. We count on you for our Transformation Plan, and you will be able to drive your development in agile and collaborative environments, within a culture of continuous learning.

In this context, we offer a scholarship in the Processes and Data unit in Madrid.

Your daily challenges will be oriented towards:

• Data analytics for the design and development of improvements in energy distribution business processes.
• Reporting and monitoring of operational KPIs.
• Automation of reports and dashboards.
• Generation of insights for decision-making.
• Reference projects across the entire organization.

What you need:

• Final-year undergraduate student in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or pursuing a master's degree in digitalization/data.
• Knowledge of database management (SQL: PL-SQL; SAS).
• Knowledge of programming languages oriented towards data analysis (R, Python, SAS).

The following will be valued positively:

• English B2 level.
• Knowledge of data visualization and analysis tools: Power BI, Quicksight.
• Knowledge of Cloud technology (Azure, AWS).

El negocio de Redes Gas España es el encargado de la distribución de gas natural y gas renovable y opera en ámbito nacional (España) . Como compañía distribuidora, es responsable del desarrollo, operación y mantenimiento de más de 53.800 km de red de gas a la que están conectados más de 5,4 M de puntos de suministro en casi 1.150 municipios. Las principales actividades que lleva a cabo son: puesta en servicio, lectura de contador, inspección periódica y la atención de avisos. Los retos de tu día a día estarán orientados a:

• Analítica de datos para diseño y desarrollo de mejoras en los procesos de negocio de distribución de energía.
• Reporte y seguimiento de KPI´s operativos.
• Automatización de reportes y dashboards.
• Generación de insights para la toma de decisiones.
• Proyectos referentes en toda la organización.

Lo que necesitas:

• Estudiante de último curso de Grado de Ingeniería Industrial, telecomunicaciones, Informática, física, matemáticas o cursando máster en digitalización / data.
• Conocimiento de manejo de BBDD (SQL: PL-SQL; SAS).
• Conocimiento en lenguaje de programación orientados a análisis de datos (R, Python, SAS).

Se valorará positivamente:

• Inglés B2.
• Conocimientos de herramientas de visualización y análisis de datos: Power BI, Quicksight.
• Conocimientos de tecnología Cloud (Azure, AWS).
