Territorial Distribution Specialist Technician (Barcelona).

The Gas Networks Spain business is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates on a national scale (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of over 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. The main activities carried out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection, and handling of service requests. Your daily challenges will be oriented towards:

  • Supervise assigned operations, including those that require assuming the responsibility of technical direction and those operations of greater complexity, in the execution of the most relevant milestones, managing changes or incidents that arise during their development, in accordance with internal regulations and current legislation, in order to ensure compliance with the budget, scheduled timeframe, and safety, risk prevention, quality control, and environmental protocols. Manage the necessary requirements for the execution of assigned operations, ensuring the corresponding information is updated in the Company's systems.
  • Manage, when the scale of the activity so requires, the scheduling of the works assigned to you, completing the milestones associated with their economic monitoring and requesting the collaboration of other supervision resources when the complexity or duration of the work recommends it. Carry out, when necessary, the necessary management to ensure that the operations under your responsibility meet the Technical Direction requirements contemplated at any time by the applicable current regulations.
