The Gas Networks Spain business unit is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gas and operates on a national scale (Spain). As a distribution company, it is responsible for the development, operation, and maintenance of over 53,800 km of gas network to which more than 5.4 million supply points in nearly 1,150 municipalities are connected. The main activities carried out are: commissioning, meter reading, periodic inspection, and handling of reports. Our purpose is to be an active agent in decarbonization and a key player in the country's energy transition.

Redes Gas España - NEDGIA is responsible for the distribution of natural gas and renewable gases in Spain for the Naturgy Group. As a distribution company, it develops, operates, and improves the national gas distribution system and implements new connections for renewable gases (biomethane and green hydrogen), being an active agent in decarbonization and the country's energy transition.

In this context, we offer an Internship in the Connection Request Unit within the Centralized Operations and Third-Party Services Directorate.

This internship will allow you to learn:

• Most of the main activities of a Distribution Company; by collaborating in the Centralized Operations and Third-Party Services Directorate, you will understand the service that Distribution Companies must provide regulatorily to the 8 million customers who consume piped gas in Spain.
• As an intern, you will learn about the conditions under which these Services are provided, the rights and obligations, as well as the contracting modalities. You will see and participate firsthand in the transition of a conventional energy sector to a more renewable and sustainable one. You will personally handle customers' connection requests to the network for gas extraction, for injecting renewable gas, or for any other action on the infrastructure of the largest Distributor in Spain.
• You will deepen your understanding of the simplification and digitalization of activities in order to provide better service to our customers.

El negocio de Redes Gas España, es el encargado de la distribución de gas natural y gas renovable y opera en ámbito nacional (España) . Como compañía distribuidora, es responsable del desarrollo, operación y mantenimiento de más de 53.800 km de red de gas a la que están conectados más de 5,4 M de puntos de suministro en casi 1.150 municipios. Las principales actividades que lleva a cabo son: puesta en servicio, lectura de contador, inspección periódica y la atención de avisos. Como compañía distribuidora, desarrolla, opera y mejora el sistema de distribución de gas nacional e implementa nuevas conexiones de gases renovables (biometano e hidrógeno verde), siendo agente activo de la descarbonización y de la transición energética del país.

En este contexto ofrecemos una Beca en la Unidad de Solicitudes de Conexión en la Dirección de Operaciones Centralizadas y Servicios a Terceros.

Estas prácticas te permitirán conocer:

• Gran parte de las activades principales de una empresa Distribuidora; Colaborando en la Dirección de Operacioones Centralizadas y Servicios a terceros entenderás el servicio que las Distribuidora deben prestar Regulatoriamente a los 8 millones de clientes que consumen gas canalizado en España.
• Como estudiante en prácticas aprenderás sobre las condiciones en las que se prestan estos Servicios, los derechos y obligaciones asi como las modalidades de contratación. Verás y participaràs de primera mano en la transición de un sector energético convencional a un sector más renovable y sostenible. Atenderás en primera persona las solicitudes de conexión de los clientes a la red, para extracción de gas, para inyección de gas renovable o cualquier otra actuación sobre la infraestructura de la mayor Distribuidora en España.
• Profundizarás en la simplificación y digitalización de las actividades con el fin de dar mejor servicio a nuestros clientes.
