- B1 level of English, which will be validated through a test.
- Knowledge of Braille.
- Proficiency in technological tools and the Office suite at a user level.
- A minimum of two school years of experience as a teacher or pedagogue.
- Driver's license and own vehicle.
- In the case of having a disability, a valid disability certificate.
- Prior to hiring, a negative certification from the Central Registry of Sexual Offenders, or a document proving the request for said certification, will be required, in accordance with the provisions of Article 12, paragraph 5, of Law 26/2015 on the "Modification of the Child and Adolescent Protection System".

At ONCE, we are looking for a Teacher for a permanent vacancy at our Ávila Agency.

WHAT WILL YOU DO ON A DAILY BASIS?

- Observation and assessment of babies and students under 6 years old.
- Assessment of assigned students.
- Development of the intervention plan proposal.
- Programming of intervention areas based on the students' needs.
- Traveling to the students' educational centers.
- Direct in-person attention to students, both inside and outside the classroom, including recess.
- Attention to adults pursuing formal studies.
- Attention to students enrolled in special education centers.
- Intervention in the school environment through technical support and specialized advice to all agents of the educational community.
- Keeping the educational community (family, centers, other teams or professionals) informed about the needs and capabilities of students with visual impairments.
- Adaptation of teaching materials and resources.
- Collaboration with other institutions or teams.
- Advising classroom teachers on methodological and didactic resources, support, adaptation of resources and materials...
- Intervention in the family environment (at an individual or group level - parents' schools, workshops...)
- Introduction to information and communication technologies.
- Facilitating normalization, inclusion, and autonomy for students.
- Monitoring the intervention carried out by other professionals with the assigned student.
- Development of programs and activities complementary to direct care.
- Design of resources, research, and training for other internal professionals and different agents of the educational community.
- Coordination with other professionals.
