The role
Job description
We are now recruiting for a teacher to start asap, with initial contract running until late June 2026. One of our wonderful current teachers is leaving due to family health issues. This is a full-time post, with classes at all levels and for all ages (primary, secondary and adults), all currently on site. The post would suit a teacher with a fair amount of experience. We prepare many of our students for Cambridge exams, and teachers also train to run Cambridge exams. All our teachers have complete mastery of English, (and most of them speak excellent Spanish too!). Classes are Monday-Thursday, with exam duties on a very limited number of Fridays and Saturdays, so teachers enjoy long 3-day weekends almost every weekend.
Conditions
Initial contract (renewable) to 25th June 2026. 22 contact hours per week. Applicants must be EU citizens or hold current valid working papers for the duration of their contract.
About Spainwise English Teaching Jobs
Spainwise English Teaching Jobs is a specialized job board and recruitment platform focused exclusively on English teaching positions across Spain. It connects international and local English teachers with schools, academies, and language institutions in various Spanish cities and regions, including Seville, Bilbao, Madrid, and the Basque Country. The platform lists a wide range of roles, from full-time and part-time teaching positions to substitution and corporate English teaching jobs, as well as professional development opportunities like Trinity CertTESOL qualifications.
For international professionals, Spainwise is a practical entry point into the Spanish education sector, offering a centralized list of vacancies that often do not require prior experience in Spain. The platform is particularly relevant for native or fluent English speakers looking to teach in Spain, as it provides access to schools across the country, from urban centers to smaller towns. While Spainwise itself is not an employer, it acts as a facilitator, helping candidates find positions and navigate the Spanish teaching job market, making it a useful resource for those relocating to Spain for work.
