What you'll do

We are selecting a Degree Program Director to manage and lead the necessary actions to ensure the correct implementation and development of the program, coordinating the faculty and leading and driving the continuous improvement process in accordance with the requirements established in the Quality management system. Main responsibilities:

  • Direct and ensure academic coordination of the program, alongside the corresponding Associate Dean.
  • Coordinate the faculty and manage communication with the rest of the university departments.
  • Adapt the University's Academic Model to the specific needs of the program.
  • Design, develop, and/or oversee the creation of academic and teaching materials for the program.
  • Ensure compliance with the requirements established by the University's quality management system and drive its continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate, support, and evaluate faculty performance and identify training needs to promote professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with academic completion rates and program performance indicators.
  • Ensure monitoring processes are carried out.
  • Propose, implement, and monitor program improvement plans.
  • Add value to the program and work with Associate Deans and Assistants to enhance the program's visibility.
  • Manage student incidents in collaboration with the Support Team.

What we're looking for

  • A doctorate in Business Administration, Economics, International Trade, International Business, Marketing, or related fields is desirable, and/or a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management, Economics, International Trade, International Business, Marketing, or similar.
  • Demonstrable academic background in international business, foreign trade, global business strategy, supply chain & logistics, business internationalization, or directly related fields.
  • Demonstrable professional experience in positions related to international trade, global business development, business internationalization, international consulting, or international operations management.
  • Experience in coordinating or directing academic programs or teaching teams.
  • University teaching experience, preferably online.
  • Residence in Valencia or its surroundings is valued.
