Your impact

At Power Electronics, we are looking to incorporate a Health & Safety Coordinator specialized in Electrical Areas, with the aim of leading the implementation and supervision of our health and safety policies in the Electrical Area. Your mission will be to ensure strict compliance with occupational risk prevention regulations in industrial projects with electrical components.

You will be part of a global team in full growth, made up of 56 Health & Safety professionals committed to excellence and innovation. With a presence in Spain (56 people), the United States (16) and other international offices, we work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with constant communication (daily or weekly) among all team members. Additionally, we have H&S consultants who work closely with our team to guarantee the highest safety standards in all Power Electronics operations.

You will report directly to the Health & Safety Manager of Electrical Areas, working closely to anticipate and prevent occupational risks, promote a strong preventive culture, and ensure a safe working environment in all operational and construction phases, in compliance with current regulations and corporate standards. Furthermore, you will actively participate in the training and awareness of personnel, promoting good practices and commitment to safety.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assessment of electrical and industrial risks. (Preparation and updating of risk matrices. Daily inspection of Low and High Voltage areas. Analysis of specific risks of electrical and industrial work.
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance through the application of RD 1215/1997 (PPE), RD 486/1997 (safety conditions), RD 485/1997 (signage) and RD 614/2001 (work with electrical risk).
  • Accident investigation: root cause analysis and preparation of reports for the INSST.
  • Comprehensive management of internal and external audits: preparation of ISO 45001 documentation, monitoring of non-conformities and execution of corrective action plans.
  • Preparation and management of critical documentation: LOTO procedures, work permits and electrical safety protocols, as well as management of PAUs in accordance with RD 393/2007 and RD 524/2023.
  • Design and validation of electrical test benches, in coordination with R&D to ensure safety in prototypes and trials.
  • Support in the coordination and planning of the H&S Electrical team.

We are looking for people with

  • Academic background: Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical or similar...) Mandatory Master's Degree in Occupational Risk Prevention in the 3 specialties.
  • Professional experience: Previous experience of at least 3-4 years in Health and Safety projects with electrical risk (desirable) and coordinating team members.
