About the role

Ensure the conformity of semi-finished and finished products by executing, monitoring, and recording the established quality controls. What you'll do

  • Perform, review, and record quality control results for semi-finished and finished products, both in-house and at subcontractors.
  • Verify product conformity against specifications, masters, defect libraries, acceptance criteria, and applicable quality plans.
  • Manage, prepare, validate, and update masters, reference samples, and control items required for production and product release.
  • Support new product launches at subcontractors, ensuring the correct transfer of quality requirements before production begins.
  • Participate in production start-ups, pre-series, or first production runs, validating product, packaging, lotting, labeling, and palletizing according to defined requirements.
  • Coordinate with Industrialization, Packaging, Production, Purchasing, Planning, and subcontractors to resolve quality issues during launch and manufacturing.
  • Promote teamwork and cross-functional communication across all areas involved in the launch process, ensuring information exchange, alignment of criteria, and monitoring of critical points until product release.
  • Identify, record, and track non-conformities, deviations, complaints, and corrective actions.
  • Review and draft technical and quality documentation, including control methods, instructions, reports, certificates, records, and quality plans.
  • Conduct or coordinate audits, verifications, and product surveillance controls at subcontractors, ensuring compliance with internal standards and GMP requirements.
  • Comply with and enforce current legislation, Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, environmental, and applicable internal procedures.

Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the cosmetic, pharmaceutical, chemical, or consumer goods industry. Experience in managing subcontractors, new product launches, or industrialization will be valued.

Education: Technical education in industrial analysis and quality control or a related field.

Knowledge: Knowledge of GMP, quality plans, AQL criteria, non-conformance management, technical documentation, SAP, and Office tools.

Languages: Advanced English. French will be valued.

Competencies: Ability to work in a team, effective communication, attention to detail, organization, proactivity, and the ability to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during launch processes.

Availability to travel to subcontractors and attend production start-ups or launch validations.
