About the role

Job description

From the private hospitals of Quirónsalud in Madrid, we are looking for an Administrative Assistant for Outpatient Consultations at Hospital Universitario La Luz, located in the Moncloa area (C/ Maestro Ángel Llorca, 8, Chamberí).

What will your mission be?

You will manage and organize the flow of patients, helping to provide an agile and efficient service. You will carry out the corresponding billing processes and the rest of the administrative duties aimed at ensuring the proper development of the assigned service.

What you'll do

What will be your functions and responsibilities?

You will be precise and conscientious in managing the cash register and collecting payments from private patients, as well as requesting the necessary authorizations from the different insurance companies, ensuring compliance with established deadlines and procedures, where applicable.

You will resolve any conflicts that may arise in the activities carried out and demonstrate a high level of decision-making and problem-solving ability.

You will properly schedule visits and/or tests according to medical requests.

You will schedule appointments for services, following criteria established in the department, and you will record all those services that, due to their urgent nature, do not have an appointment.

You will process authorizations, when necessary.

You will properly control and manage cash register and collection tasks.

You will prepare documents to be sent to billing according to established procedures.
