From Quirónsalud's private hospitals in Madrid, we are looking for a Diagnostic Imaging Technician for Quirónsalud Sur University Hospital, located at Calle Estambul, 30, 28922 Alcorcón, Madrid.

What will your mission be?

To perform diagnostic imaging techniques, in coordination with the rest of the multidisciplinary team, applying the knowledge and techniques of a Senior Technician in Radiology, guaranteeing the maximum possible reliability, suitability, and quality and the lowest dose to the patient, following the guidelines set by the center and based on the action procedures established in each case.

What will your duties and responsibilities be?

Attend to, receive, and transport patients, maintaining a professional and respectful relationship with them and their families, ensuring their privacy, integrity, and well-being at all times.

Manage administrative procedures and care documentation, including admissions, discharges, and records necessary for the proper development of the care process.

Observe and monitor the patient's condition, maintaining continuous surveillance for possible changes and collaborating with the healthcare team as directed.

Prepare the patient, materials, and equipment necessary for performing radiological examinations and procedures, in accordance with the medical prescription.

Perform assigned diagnostic tests, obtaining high-quality technical images through the correct application of procedures and the interpretation of scientific-technical information.

Ensure the radiological safety of patients and professionals, minimizing radiation dose and ensuring compliance with current radiation protection regulations.

Operate and verify the proper functioning of radiology equipment, including C-arms, as well as radiation protection elements and accessories.

Collaborate in obtaining, handling, identifying, and archiving samples, preparations, results, and records, ensuring their proper control and traceability.

Participate in specialized procedures, including anesthetic techniques, percutaneous interventional radiology, and the aseptic preparation of surgical and puncture sites, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
