About the role

At Randstad, we work with our client Fini to provide support in the selection of all types of professional profiles.

We are looking for our next R&D Laboratory Assistant.

Your main objective will be to support laboratory and pilot plant testing needed to advance the R&D department's projects.

What you'll do

Your main duties will be:

Actively collaborate in the planning and execution of laboratory and pilot plant tests designed by R&D technicians for the development of new products and the improvement of existing formulas, including sample preparation and performance of specific assays.

  • Record and analyze data obtained during testing, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the information, and present reports and summaries to the R&D team.
  • Communicate test findings and results to the R&D team clearly and promptly, participating in meetings and collaborating on data interpretation for decision-making.
  • Procure materials and supplies necessary for laboratory and pilot plant operations, placing orders on time to ensure continuity of activities.
  • Perform physical-chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products, following established protocols and standards.
  • Maintain and regularly calibrate laboratory and pilot plant equipment, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
  • Manage the laboratory and pilot plant, ensuring cleanliness, order, and proper condition of the facilities.
  • Strictly comply with food hygiene and safety regulations, environmental protection, waste

management, and occupational risk prevention, including the safe handling of chemicals.

  • Coordinate with the other R&D and Innovation laboratory assistants to ensure compliance with the above points.
