About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Health and Safety strategy and policies at the Distribution Center.

You will ensure that safety is fully integrated into daily operations and that all legal regulations, applicable rules, and internal company standards are rigorously complied with.

Working closely with managers and employees, you will play a key role in creating and consolidating a strong and proactive safety culture throughout the center.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

  • Lead Health and Safety performance, ensuring

legal compliance within the Distribution Center.

  • Translate the corporate Occupational Health and Safety strategy into effective

action plans and initiatives at the local level.

  • Implement, supervise, and continuously improve safety procedures, policies, and

guidelines.

  • Conduct risk assessments and safety inspections, and promote

preventive and corrective measures.

  • Investigate, manage, and follow up on incidents, accidents, near

misses, and improvement actions.

  • Define and drive objectives, indicators (KPIs), and action plans in the area of

Health and Safety.

  • Foster a strong safety culture, promoting the active participation of

employees in preventive initiatives.

  • Coordinate Health and Safety training programs, ensuring a high

level of awareness throughout the organization.

  • Collaborate closely with managers, teams, and other key stakeholders to

drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable Health and Safety legislation, as well as

the company's internal policies and requirements.

Requirements

  • Relevant academic background and/or demonstrable experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety.
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position.
  • Experience working with Health and Safety management systems (e.g., ISO 45001) and solid knowledge of applicable Occupational Risk Prevention legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and engage different stakeholders and levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel to other international Distribution Centers when necessary. Of course, the company will cover travel and accommodation expenses.
  • Good level of English, both spoken and written (minimum advanced B2 level).
  • Ability to build trusting relationships and contribute to the development of a solid and proactive preventive culture.
  • Analytical mindset to identify risks, drive improvements, and achieve sustainable results.
  • Practical, action-oriented attitude, with the confidence to lead change and drive continuous improvement of workplace safety.
