About the role

What you'll do

In your day-to-day as an Electromechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and maximum availability of the machinery and continuous packaging/production lines:

  • Carrying out preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance (electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic) of continuous production machinery.
  • Diagnosing and resolving electromechanical faults in record time to minimize plant downtime.
  • Supervising, adjusting and optimizing automated systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), variable frequency drives and sensors.
  • Changing formats, adjusting parameters and carrying out technical inspections of packaging and processing lines.
  • Collaborating on continuous improvement projects, complying with occupational safety regulations and food quality and hygiene standards (IFS/BRC).

Requirements

Education: Intermediate or Advanced Vocational Training Certificate in Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechatronics, Industrial Automation and Robotics or similar.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years performing technical maintenance duties on continuous production lines. Previous experience in the food industry or in industrial sectors with similar automated processes will be highly valued.
  • Technical knowledge: Solid skills in industrial electricity, mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics and reading schematic drawings.
  • Competencies: Analytical skills, initiative, teamwork and a clear focus on troubleshooting.
  • Residence near Manzanares and availability to travel to the site using your own vehicle.
