About the role

We are currently looking for a Service Manager for our branch in Tenerife, whose main mission will be to manage and develop the after-sales business (workshop and services), ensuring customer and team satisfaction, driving profitable and sustainable growth of the branch and ensuring operational efficiency.

What you'll do

 Main Responsibilities

  • Team leadership: Lead, manage, motivate and empower the team to work independently and in a coordinated manner.
  • Customer relations: Ensure customer needs are met, systematically developing the customer experience at the branch and building lasting business relationships.
  • Business management and development: Manage workshop activity with the aim of satisfying customers and the team, generating responsible and sustainable business that contributes to Scania's growth. Plan workshop operations in the short and medium term with a strategic vision and a focus on customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Business development: Promote the sustainable growth of service solution sales.
  • Results monitoring: Monitor performance indicators and operational targets, proposing and executing projects and activities to achieve defined goals.

Requirements

  • Experience and technical knowledge in the automotive sector (preferably in trucks and buses) and/or experience in multinational retail companies with teams under your responsibility.
  • Experience in an industrial dealership or similar.
  • Commercial management, customer relations and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of financial and operational indicators.
  • Experience in team leadership.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of the Office package (especially Excel).
  • Desirable: Intermediate level of spoken and written English.
  • Desirable: Driving license B, C and D.
