About the role
As a Occupational Risk Prevention Technician (Safety) at the Toledo Plant, you will be the person responsible for ensuring compliance with OHS legislation and SBFE Safety standards, driving a solid Zero Harm culture.
Your role is key to ensuring that safety is not just regulatory, but a daily way of working on the plant floor.
What you'll do
- Comprehensively manage Occupational Risk Prevention (safety, hygiene and ergonomics).
- Carry out risk assessments, define action plans and ensure their follow-up.
- Investigate accidents, incidents and HIPO, turning lessons learned into real improvements.
- Lead key Safety projects, with priority focus on Lockout/Tagout (LOTO):
- Analysis of hazardous energies
- Development and improvement of procedures
- Training for internal staff and contractors
- Audits and field observations
- Manage contractor safety and CAE:
- Document validation
- Risk assessments
- Work permits
- Field follow-up
- Participate in engineering projects and modifications, integrating Safety from the design stage.
- Deliver safety training and inductions.
- Prepare Safety KPIs and reporting, collaborating with Iberia and Europe teams.
