About the role

Every Data Center we develop involves highly demanding technical decisions: how to guarantee service continuity, how to ensure real redundancy, how to integrate electrical systems with architecture, mechanical, or control systems with zero margin for error.

And that is where the electrical team plays a key role.

We are at a moment of growth, and we are looking to bring in a figure who not only designs… but sets the standard: an Electrical Team Lead who wants to lead a team both technically and humanly within highly complex projects. Today we design the data centers of the future.

What will your responsibilities be?

What you'll do

  • Technical leadership of electrical teams: You will coordinate and supervise teams of electrical engineers and technicians, assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and resolving technical queries.
You will be responsible for ensuring the technical quality of the team's work, standardizing design criteria, and guaranteeing solutions aligned with client requirements and industry standards.

  • Electrical design of Data Centers: You will lead the design of critical electrical infrastructure for medium and low voltage, including distribution architectures, UPS systems, backup generation, electrical panels, and critical distribution systems (PDUs, RPPs, STSs).
You will participate in defining strategies for redundancy, availability, maintainability, and energy efficiency, as well as integration with disciplines such as mechanical, telecommunications, BMS/EPMS, and architecture.

  • Electrical calculations and studies: You will supervise and validate electrical calculations associated with the design: load balances, equipment sizing, short-circuit studies, protection selectivity, voltage drop, harmonic analysis, and grounding systems.
You will ensure compliance with service continuity and system resilience criteria.

  • Development and review of technical documentation: You will coordinate the preparation and review of project technical documentation: single-line diagrams, electrical schematics, specifications, data sheets, load lists, drawings, and technical reports.
You will also review documentation from suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers.

  • Technical and multidisciplinary coordination: You will lead coordination with other disciplines (architecture, mechanical, civil, control, telecommunications, and commissioning), ensuring the correct integration of the electrical design within the Data Center as a whole.
You will participate in technical meetings with the client and other stakeholders, acting as the project's electrical reference.

  • Technical management of electrical projects: You will coordinate electrical work packages within national and international projects, ensuring compliance with scope, deadlines, quality, and client requirements.
You will provide support in resource planning, tracking workloads, and continuous improvement of internal processes.

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.

  • Consolidated experience (at least 8 years of experience) in the design of electrical installations (especially in complex or critical environments).

  • Experience leading or coordinating engineering teams.

  • Solid knowledge of medium and low voltage electrical systems.

  • Experience in the design of critical systems with redundancy, availability, and service continuity criteria.

  • Ability to review and validate electrical calculations and complex technical documentation.

  • Experience in multidisciplinary coordination in engineering projects.

  • Leadership skills, technical decision-making, and problem-solving.

  • Meticulous, perfectionist profile, detail-oriented, who anticipates the construction details necessary for execution focused on project quality.

Nice to have

Will be valued positively

  • Experience in Data Center projects or critical infrastructure.

  • Knowledge of standards such as IEC, TIA-942, Uptime Institute, NFPA, or NEC.

  • Proficiency with tools such as ETAP, Caneco, Revit/BIM, Navisworks, Dialux, or other similar ones.

  • Participation in construction phases, commissioning, or QA/QC.

  • Experience in technical development of teams or mentoring.

Languages

  • High level of English (spoken and written) B2-C1.

What you'll get

What are our benefits?
