About the role

Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, a leading company in the development and generation of renewable energy in Southern Europe, is strongly committed to actively contributing to decarbonization through a global energy model based on clean energies.

Since our beginnings in 2002, thanks to sustainable business strategy and management, we have evolved from being an industrial company specialized in the manufacturing of photovoltaic panels to becoming a company specialized in energy generation with a solid track record on the Spanish stock market, where we have been listed since 2007 and where we reached a milestone in 2020 with our inclusion in the selective IBEX 35 index.

We are currently seeking an Urban Planning and Land Management Specialist whose main mission will be to drive and lead the urban development necessary for the Data Center projects that Solaria has underway, ensuring land transformation and adaptation, comprehensive urban processing, and guaranteeing technical, environmental, and energy viability across the different Autonomous Communities where we have projects.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for developing urban transformation projects and changing land use from rural or hybrid to industrial.

  • Experience with urban processing tools and procedures, both temporary (urban qualification) and permanent (Modifications to General Plans, Partial Plans, PAU, PSI, etc.).

  • Experience with these procedures in Castilla-La Mancha, especially in Toledo and Guadalajara.

  • Ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary projects (360º), including technical components, renewable infrastructure, energy management, and environmental considerations.

  • Ability to lead teams in meeting client commitments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Geography; master's degrees in Territorial Planning, Urban Management, Land Organization, or Infrastructure Development will be valued.

  • Solid knowledge of state and regional urban planning legislation, especially in Castilla-La Mancha and Castilla y León.

  • Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience performing similar functions.

  • Experience with QGIS or equivalent tools for territorial analysis and cartography.

  • Experience with planning tools such as regional urban viewers, SIOSE, Catastro, GML, and regional SDI (Spatial Data Infrastructure).
