At this time, we are looking for a SCADA software development Manager whose main mission will be to develop and evolve the internal corporate SCADA system, ensuring its robustness, scalability, and full integration with Solaria's operational, control, and market systems. 100% On-site position.

Main Functions

  • Design, development, and implementation of complex and customized SCADA systems, ensuring availability, performance, and scalability.

  • Evolution of manual processes towards digital, integrated, and auditable processes.

  • Connection between SCADA, EMS, market platforms, internal tools, and delegated dispatch systems.

  • Lead the team, managing internal SCADA evolution projects and ensuring proper planning, monitoring, and delivery of each phase.

  • Comprehensive management of external suppliers, including scope definition, quality control, supervision of deliverables, and alignment with Solaria's technical and operational standards.

  • Development in C++, C#, Python, Java, and .NET applying good software engineering practices.

  • Design and development of control systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial communications.

  • Implementation and management of protocols such as Modbus, DNP3, IEC 60870‑5, among others.

  • Coordination of the development team, testing, documentation, and relationship with external suppliers.

Requirements

  • STEM education: Computer engineering, electronics, industrial engineering, industrial systems, or similar; a postgraduate degree in software engineering, control systems, or automation is valued.

  • Minimum 10 years in SCADA software development.

  • Experience in OT, IoT, and systems control environments.

  • Solid knowledge of relational and non-relational architectures.

  • Extensive knowledge of networks, web technologies, and Windows and Linux operating systems.

  • Proficiency in C++, C#, Python, Java, and .NET.

  • Experience in control systems, sensors, actuators, and industrial communications.
