About the role

We are currently looking for a Dispatch Manager for our Italian market whose main mission will be to lead the start-up and optimization of energy dispatch and the marketing strategy for Solaria's photovoltaic assets in Italy, working from our headquarters in Madrid in close coordination with the local Trading, Regulation, and O&M teams, ensuring compliance with Italian electricity market regulations and maximizing the value of the assets through optimal dispatch decisions in real time and in the medium term.

What you'll do

  • Design and execute the dispatch strategy for Solaria's photovoltaic assets in Italy, optimizing participation in the electricity market (MGP, MI, MSD).

  • Coordinate with Terna and other Italian system operators (GME) on nomination processes, balancing services, and imbalance management.

  • Analyze market prices, generation forecasts, and regulatory conditions to maximize asset returns.

  • Collaborate with the Trading, Asset Management, and O&M teams to align dispatch operations with the group's commercial strategy.

  • Monitor compliance with Italian electricity market regulations and rules (ARERA, Terna, or others where applicable).

  • Develop generation forecasting and economic optimization models for assets in Italy.

  • Prepare periodic reports on revenue, performance, imbalances, and improvement opportunities for the Department Manager.

  • Act as the point of contact between the central team in Madrid and local stakeholders in Italy.
