About the role

At this time, we are looking for an Electric Market Operator who, as part of the Energy Management team, and working in shifts, will operate in the different OMIE/REE markets the assets.

What you'll do

Your main functions as an Electric Market Operator on shifts will be:

  • Sending bids to all OMIE/REE markets, purchase and sale transactions of electricity in spot and futures markets, optimizing revenues from the management of this energy.

  • Analyzing electricity market conditions (fundamentals, indicators, prices, forecasts, bids) to identify opportunities and execute in real time the different transactions in the different OMIE/REE markets, optimizing revenues from participation in the different markets.

  • Evaluating and managing risks associated with operations, using appropriate tools and strategies.

  • Real-time monitoring: performance of the regulation zone (AGC)

  • Generating reports on market operations, P&L reports, market analysis, performance of generation assets.

  • Collaborating with other teams: data analysis- IT, asset management and asset management, regulatory compliance, Origination, etc.

Minimum requirements

  • Knowledge of Python, VBA/SQL tools.

  • Analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions under pressure.

  • Availability to work in shifts (Morning - Afternoon - Night) distributed over the 7 days of the week.
