Senior Functional Consultant - Corporate & Commercial Banking

We are looking for a professional with 4-5 years of experience in business consulting within the Financial Services sector, focused on corporate and commercial banking. The selected candidate will participate in strategic projects within banking institutions, providing functional knowledge in areas such as Trade Finance/Foreign Trade, Supply Chain Finance (Factoring, Confirming, PO Finance), Cash & Liquidity Management (Virtual Accounts, Cash Pooling), Syndicated Loans, Leasing & Rental, or Digital Assets.

Functions:

• Lead the functional definition of corporate banking products, translating business needs into detailed specifications and collaborating closely with technical teams in Agile environments
• Manage banking transformation projects, tracking milestones, risks, planning, and reporting to key stakeholders
• Coordinate the implementation of technological solutions, ensuring proper alignment with the client's strategic objectives
• Participate in solution selection processes, prepare RFPs, and coordinate with technology vendors

Responsibilities:

• Act as a functional reference in complex commercial & corporate banking projects, leading communication between business and technology teams
• Define functional requirements for financial products (Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, Lending) and validate their proper implementation
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: analysis, functional design, testing, implementation, and optimization
• Work with leading banking market platforms, ensuring integration with core systems and digital solutions
• Promote the use of Gen AI-based solutions applied to financial and operational processes
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and collaborate across operations, technology, and business areas

The position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model, with some days working from home and others at the office, where you will be able to create valuable synergies with the rest of your team.

Buscamos un profesional con 4-5 años de experiencia en consultoría de negocio dentro del sector de Financial Services, con foco en banca de empresas y corporativa (commercial & corporate banking). La persona seleccionada participará en proyectos estratégicos dentro de entidades bancarias, aportando conocimiento funcional en áreas como Trade Finance/Comex, Supply Chain Finance (Factoring, Confirming, PO Finance), Cash & Liquidity Management (Cuentas virtuales, Cash Pooling), Préstamos Sindicados, Leasing & Renting o Activos Digitales.

Funciones:

• Liderar la definición funcional de productos de banca empresas, traduciendo necesidades de negocio en especificaciones detalladas y colaborando estrechamente con equipos técnicos en entornos Agile
• Gestionar proyectos de transformación en banca, realizando seguimiento de hitos, riesgos, planificación y reporting a stakeholders clave
• Coordinar la implantación funcional de soluciones tecnológicas, asegurando la correcta alineación con los objetivos estratégicos del cliente
• Participar en procesos de selección de soluciones, elaboración de RFPs y coordinación con proveedores tecnológicos

Responsabilidades:

• Actuar como referente funcional en proyectos complejos de commercial & corporate banking, liderando la interlocución con negocio y tecnología
• Definir requerimientos funcionales de productos financieros (Trade Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Cash Management, Lending) y validar su correcta implementación
• Supervisar el ciclo completo del proyecto: análisis, diseño funcional, pruebas, implantación y optimización
• Trabajar con plataformas líderes del mercado bancario, asegurando la integración con sistemas core y soluciones digitales
• Impulsar el uso de soluciones basadas en Gen AI aplicadas a procesos financieros y operativos
• Gestionar equipos multidisciplinares y colaborar transversalmente con áreas de operaciones, tecnología y negocio
