Data Engineer

We are looking to bring in Data Engineer profiles through an intensive 5-week program that combines hands-on training and the development of a final project, followed by integration into large-scale projects within Accenture, enabling autonomous integration into technical teams from day one.

The position is based in Barcelona under a hybrid working model, working some days from home and others at the office, where you can create interesting synergies with the rest of your team.

It is essential to reside in Spain and hold a work permit in Spain.

Responsibilities

• Development and maintenance of data pipelines to integrate information from different sources.
• Preparation, transformation, and organization of structured and unstructured data for consumption by AI applications.
• Development of ETL/ELT processes to automate data loading and transformation.

• Design and develop data pipelines on AWS (S3, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Neptune) to integrate structured and unstructured sources.

• Implement graph queries (SPARQL, Cypher or Gremlin) and combine them with SQL and vector search.

• Build RAG solutions, semantic search and metadata enrichment for LLM use cases.

• Collaboration with AI, analytics, and development teams to create scalable and efficient solutions.
• Metadata management and documentation of processes to ensure data traceability.
• Participation in initiatives related to semantic search, generative AI, and intelligent assistants.

Responsibilities:

• Designing knowledge-oriented data architectures with an end-to-end approach for AI-driven systems.
• Integrating multiple enterprise repositories (S3, SharePoint, FileNet) ensuring semantic coherence.
• Defining hybrid query strategies (relational, graph, vector) based on the use case.
• Ensuring data quality, traceability (data lineage), and compliance with data governance standards.

Requirements:

• University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent.
• Professional experience in Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or AI Engineering in production environments.
• Advanced use of Python and SQL as primary work tools.
• Experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Aurora, Neptune PostgreSQL, Bedrock)
• Experience with graph databases and query languages (SPARQL, Cypher, or Gremlin)
• English B2/C1

Nice to have:

• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or similar.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Terraform, or DevOps
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD.
• Experience with data lineage tools, data quality, and data governance.

El puesto se desempeña en Barcelona en un modelo de trabajo híbrido realizando algunos días desde tu casa y otros en la oficina donde podrás crear interesantes sinergias con el resto de tu equipo.

Es imprescindible residir en España y tener permiso laboral en España.

Funciones

• Desarrollo y mantenimiento de pipelines de datos para integrar información procedente de diferentes fuentes.
• Preparación, transformación y organización de datos estructurados y no estructurados para su consumo por aplicaciones de IA.
• Desarrollo de procesos ETL/ELT para automatizar la carga y transformación de datos.

• Diseñar y desarrollar pipelines de datos en AWS (S3, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Neptune) para integrar fuentes estructuradas y no estructuradas.

• Implementar consultas sobre grafos (SPARQL, Cypher o Gremlin) y combinarlas con SQL y búsqueda vectorial.

• Construir soluciones de RAG, búsqueda semántica y enriquecimiento de metadatos para casos de uso con LLM.

• Colaboración con equipos de IA, analítica y desarrollo para crear soluciones escalables y eficientes.
• Gestión de metadatos y documentación de los procesos para garantizar la trazabilidad de la información.
• Participación en iniciativas relacionadas con búsqueda semántica, IA generativa y asistentes inteligentes.

Responsabilidades:

• Diseñar arquitecturas de datos orientadas a conocimiento con enfoque end-to-end para sistemas AI-driven.
• Integrar múltiples repositorios empresariales (S3, SharePoint, FileNet) asegurando coherencia semántica.
• Definir estrategias de consulta híbridas (relacional, grafo, vectorial) en función del caso de uso.
• Garantizar calidad de datos, trazabilidad (data lineage) y cumplimiento de estándares de gobierno del dato.

Requisitos:

• Titulación universitaria en Ingeniería, Informática, Matemáticas, Física o equivalente.
• Experiencia profesional en Data Engineering, Software Engineering o AI Engineering en entornos productivos.
• Uso de Python y SQL avanzado como herramientas principales de trabajo..
• Experiencia en servicios AWS (S3, Glue, Aurora PostgreSQL, Neptune, Bedrock)
• Experiencia en bases de datos de grafos y lenguajes de consulta (SPARQL, Cypher o Gremlin)
• Inglés B2/C1

Valorable:

• Experiencia con frameworks como LangChain, LlamaIndex o similares.
