Strategy Consultant - Insurance

We are looking for a Strategy Consultant with more than 3 years of experience in strategy projects within the insurance sector, to join our team in Madrid and take part in high-impact initiatives related to operational efficiency, cost reduction, and business transformation. Responsibilities:

• Active participation in strategy projects for insurance companies, including cost reduction analysis, process optimization, and definition of target operating models.
• Preparation of quantitative and qualitative analyses, industry benchmarks, and business cases to support strategic decision-making.
• Direct interaction with clients to gather information, conduct workshops, and present findings and recommendations.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the proper implementation of the defined strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Analysis of core and support processes in insurance companies (operations, claims, underwriting, finance, IT, etc.), identifying efficiency and savings levers.
• Design of transformation strategies focused on productivity improvement, cost rationalization, and enhancement of the customer experience.
• Development of financial and operational models, scenarios, and implementation roadmaps.
• Leading workstreams, managing tasks, timelines, and coordination with other consultants and client stakeholders.
• Ensuring the quality of deliverables and the coherence of strategic messages presented to senior management.

The position is based in Madrid under a hybrid work model, with some days worked from home and others at the office, where you will be able to create valuable synergies with the rest of your team.

• Participación activa en proyectos de estrategia para compañías del sector insurance, incluyendo análisis de reducción de costes, optimización de procesos y definición de modelos operativos objetivo.
• Elaboración de análisis cuantitativos y cualitativos, benchmarks sectoriales y business cases para apoyar la toma de decisiones estratégicas.
• Interacción directa con clientes para la recogida de información, realización de workshops y presentación de conclusiones y recomendaciones.
• Colaboración con equipos multidisciplinares para asegurar la correcta implantación de las iniciativas estratégicas definidas.

Responsabilidades

• Analizar procesos core y de soporte en compañías aseguradoras (operaciones, siniestros, suscripción, finanzas, IT, etc.) identificando palancas de eficiencia y ahorro.
• Diseñar estrategias de transformación enfocadas en mejora de productividad, racionalización de costes y mejora de la experiencia del cliente.
• Construir modelos financieros y operativos, escenarios y hojas de ruta de implementación.
• Liderar parcialmente workstreams, gestionando tareas, tiempos y coordinación con otros consultores y stakeholders del cliente.
• Asegurar la calidad de los entregables y la coherencia de los mensajes estratégicos presentados a nivel directivo.
