Mission:
The Technical & Site Manager will oversee the technical development, fabrication coordination, and on-site installation of museum-quality exhibits. Acting as the link between design teams, consultants, and vendors, this role ensures that all technical solutions are coordinated, buildable, and executed to the highest standards of quality, safety, and design intent.
Based in Madrid and working closely with US-based teams, the role combines technical coordination during design and fabrication phases with site management responsibilities during installation, including availability for frequent travel and extended stays in the US during installation periods.
Functions:
• Coordinate the technical development of exhibits from design through fabrication and installation.
• Review and coordinate shop drawings, mock-ups, samples, and fabrication documentation.
• Produce and coordinate technical and construction drawings across multiple disciplines.
• Identify and resolve technical and constructability issues during development and fabrication.
• Conduct factory/workshop visits to monitor fabrication quality and progress.
• Manage communication between design teams, project managers, vendors, and subcontractors.
