ACCIONA, in its Water business, needs to hire a technician for its pilot plant at the San Pedro del Pinatar desalination plant.

The functions associated with the position are the following:

What you'll do

  • Operation of seawater desalination pilot plants (granular filtration, ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, remineralization, etc.).

  • Conducting experiments at the pilot plant level.

  • Sample collection and performance of analyses associated with the experimentation

  • Maintenance and execution of minor modifications to the pilot plants (repairing water leaks, replacing equipment, checking and correcting minor electrical faults, cleaning pilot plants)

  • Data processing and interpretation

  • Support in drafting reports and preparing presentations

  • Supervision and management of subcontractors

Education & certifications

  • Vocational Training Level II (FP-II) or Bachelor's degree / Technical Engineering degree. - Water Treatment Plant Operator, Water Networks and Treatment Stations Technician, Chemistry, Operation and Maintenance, Higher Technician in Water Management, Environmental Health, Higher Technician in Instrumental Analysis.

Languages

  • English: B2

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in water treatment (ideally seawater desalination), chemistry, operation and maintenance.
