About the role

The P&C Payroll Executive will be responsible for ensuring the correct and timely management of payroll for more than 400 employees, ensuring compliance with current labor legislation, internal policies, and corporate procedures. They will play a key role in personnel administration, HR data control, and optimization of human resources management systems.

What you'll do

Main responsibilities

Payroll Management

  • Manage the complete payroll cycle for a workforce of more than 400 employees.
  • Review and validate payroll incidents: overtime, shifts, holidays, absences, sick leave, and other salary components.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of salary payments.
  • Coordinate with Finance and external payroll providers as required.
  • Manage settlements, severance pay, and related documentation.
  • Prepare monthly labor cost reports and payroll analyses.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and issues related to pay and benefits.

Personnel Administration

  • Manage employee hires, terminations, and contract modifications.
  • Keep employee physical and digital files up to date.
  • Manage labor documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Administer vacations, permits, absenteeism, and working time records.
  • Provide support in internal and external audits related to HR and payroll.

HR Systems (HRIS)

  • Administer and maintain the HR management system (HRIS).
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of employee data in the systems.
  • Participate in the implementation, improvement, and optimization of HR tools.
  • Generate reports and dashboards of key personnel indicators.
  • Coordinate testing, updates, and improvements of payroll and HR systems.

Compliance and Reporting

  • Ensure compliance with labor, tax, and social security legislation.
  • Prepare reports on headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and labor costs.
  • Support the preparation of personnel budgets and forecasts.
  • Collaborate with HR, Operations, and Finance teams on cross-functional projects.

  • Demonstrable experience in hotels, resorts, or companies with more than 300 employees.
  • Solid knowledge of personnel administration and labor legislation.
  • Advanced proficiency in payroll processes.
  • Experience with payroll systems and software.
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis).
  • Experience in reporting and analyzing HR metrics.
