Domain Architect

As a Domain Architect (Enterprise Architecture), you will be responsible for defining and governing the architecture of a business or technology domain, ensuring that solutions are coherent, scalable, and aligned with Allianz and Group standards (CTA, CIM, ADP).

You will act as a bridge between Product, Enterprise Architecture, Security, Data, and Allianz Technology (AzT), influencing from the earliest stages of design.

Your success will be reflected in: clear and simplified architectures, minimal rework, and strong alignment with the target architecture.

• Solution design and definition:
  • Define and maintain the domain's Solution Design Package (SDP).
  • Design high-level architectures, APIs, integration patterns, and data flows.
  • Ensure compliance with non-functional requirements (resilience, performance, observability).
  • Validate the architectural feasibility of epics and features together with Product teams.
• Governance and Design Authority:
  • Prepare and present designs in Design Authority forums.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate standards, principles, and guardrails.
  • Coordinate inputs from security, data, and risk.
• Cross-domain alignment:
  • Identify dependencies and integrations between domains.
  • Collaborate with other Domain Architects to ensure end-to-end consistency.
  • Proactively anticipate and mitigate architectural risks.
• Target architecture and simplification:
  • Drive API-first, event-driven, and data-centric patterns.
  • Identify modernization and decommissioning opportunities.
  • Reduce complexity and technical debt in the domain.
• Collaboration with Product and Delivery:
  • Work closely with Product Managers and Product Owners.
  • Support AzT Solution Leads with architectural clarity.
  • Participate in refinements, PI Planning, and key technical decisions.
• Documentation and traceability:
  • Maintain artifacts in Confluence and ADOIT.
  • Ensure traceability from business demand → architecture → delivery.

• Solid experience in Enterprise Architecture and/or Solution Architecture.
• Deep knowledge of:
  • API-first and event-driven architectures.
  • Integration patterns and distributed systems.
  • Data architecture (CIM, models, and data flows).
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Non-functional requirements (security, resilience, performance).
• Strong ability to translate strategy into clear architectural designs.
• Systemic vision and end-to-end impact.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with Product, Engineering, Data, and Security teams.
• High level of English and Spanish (working in an international environment).

• Arquitectura objetivo y simplificación:
  • Impulsar patrones API‑first, event‑driven y data‑centric.
  • Identificar oportunidades de modernización y decommissioning.
  • Reducir complejidad y deuda técnica en el dominio.
• Colaboración con Producto y Delivery:
  • Trabajar estrechamente con Product Managers y Product Owners.
  • Apoyar a AzT Solution Leads con claridad arquitectónica.
  • Participar en refinamientos, PI Planning y decisiones técnicas clave.
• Documentación y trazabilidad:
  • Mantener artefactos en Confluence y ADOIT.

• Experiencia sólida en Enterprise Architecture y/o Solution Architecture.
• Conocimiento profundo de:
  • Arquitecturas API‑first y event‑driven.

  • Arquitectura de datos (CIM, modelos y flujos de datos).
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM).
  • Requisitos no funcionales (seguridad, resiliencia, rendimiento).
• Alta capacidad para traducir estrategia en diseños arquitectónicos claros.
• Visión sistémica e impacto end‑to‑end.
• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y gestión de stakeholders.
