Mechanic for Customer Support in Workshops

The selected candidate will provide support to customers in the workshops of the IDIADA Proving Grounds

The main tasks of this role will be:

• Mechanical work carried out in the IDIADA workshop for jobs requested by Proving Grounds customers (mechanical work on vehicles, alignments, wheel balancing, AC charging, etc.)
• Workshop preparation tasks for customer arrivals
• Support with issues related to customer workshops
• Support tasks for loading and unloading customer materials.
• Maintenance tasks for the vehicle fleet of the Proving Grounds department

Education:

• Higher Level Vocational Training in Automotive or similar.
• Basic computer skills

Experience:

• 1 year of experience in an automotive mechanical workshop.
• Ease in dealing with customers, understanding their needs, and proactivity in finding solutions
• Availability to work shifts from 07:00 to 22:00 (Monday to Friday) and Saturdays from 08:30 to 17:30. With the possibility of a Tuesday to Saturday schedule.
• Training in the use of a forklift will be valued.

Languages:

• Good level of English that allows fluent communication with customers
• Knowledge of other languages will be valued

La persona seleccionada dará soporte a clientes en los talleres de las Pistas de Pruebas de IDIADA

Las principales tareas de este perfil serán:

• Trabajos mecánicos realizados en el taller de IDIADA para trabajos encargados por clientes de Pistas de Pruebas (trabajos mecánicos sobre vehículos, alineaciones, equilibrado de ruedas, cargas de AC, etc)
• Trabajos de preparacion de los talleres para la entrada de clientes
• Soporte a las incidencias relacionadas con los talleres de clientes
• Tareas de apoyo en la carga y descarga de los materiales de clientes.
• Tareas de mantenimiento de la flota de vehículos del departamento de Pistas de Pruebas

Estudios:

• Ciclo Formativo de Grado Superior en Automoción o similar.
• Conocimientos de informática a nivel de usuario

Experiencia:

• Experiencia de 1 año en taller mecánico de automoción.
• Facilidad de trato con clientes, de entender sus necesidades y proactividad para encontrar soluciones
• Disponibilidad para trabajar a turnos de 07:00 a 22:00 (Lunes a Viernes) y Sábados de 08:30 a 17:30 horas. Con posibilidad de jornada de Martes a Sábado.
• Valorable estar formado en el uso de carretilla elevadora.

Idiomas:

• Buen nivel de inglés que permita una comunicación fluida con los clientes
• Será valorable el conocimiento de otros idiomas
